We have some very exciting news to update you on regarding recent and upcoming publicity for Lifeline Skin Care. And it's all good!
In December Lifeline hosted a breakfast for 40+ editors in New York City, featuring Dr. Elizabeth Hale. We invited both short lead (newspapers and online media) and long lead (magazine) editors. What was most impressive about the event was not only the number of editors that participated, but the quality of their publications and the caliber of the journalists. Joining us—just to name a few—were:
Beauty Director of Allure
Beauty Director of Brides
Senior Beauty Editor of Cosmopolitan
Senior Beauty Editor of Elle
Senior Beauty Editor of Essence

Curiously, this is one of the first times that the Beauty Director of
Vogue has attended an event like this. Because of her busy schedule, she normally delegates the responsibility to someone on her staff.
We have followed up with all of these editors, and already have gotten confirmation that
Elle will be doing a story on Lifeline Skin Care in their March issue;
The New York Times has done a follow up interview with Dr. Elizabeth Hale;
More magazine interviewed Dr. Hale for a story that includes
Lifeline;
W magazine is working on a story about stem cell skincare, and just last night heard that the beauty editor of
People magazine loves the eye cream and wants to feature it in an upcoming issue, along with a celebrity endorsement.
Speaking of celebrity endorsements, today Mariel Hemingway began promoting Lifeline's Eye Firming Complex on OpenSky.com. Here is a peak at Mariel's endorsement:
The skin around our eyes is very delicate, and it gets more fragile as the years go by. But you can restore firmness, fade dark circles, and relax wrinkles without seeing a surgeon—believe me! I love Lifeline's Eye Firming Complex and use it faithfully to keep my eye area bright and smooth. The "secret" is in the smart blend of anti-aging ingredients. What's really unique about this Lifeline complex are the non-embryonic stem cell extracts. They plump up thinning skin from the inside out by replacing old skin cells with healthy new cells. This is really unlike anything else you'll find, and you can see the remarkable results. Plus, proteins and peptides stimulate collagen production to do everything from zap puffiness to tighten skin, and hydrators like vitamin C and hyaluronic acid keep your delicate eye area soft and moisturized.
I dab on a small amount in the morning and again at night. I love that I wake up with bright, refreshed eyes—now I actually look as well-rested as I feel!—Mariel HemingwayHere are some other recent placements for Lifeline. Many of these are "short leads"—which give us quick hits—and are conducive to online shopping.

Building awareness and brand identity is an ongoing process. We're encouraged that Dr. Hale is in conversations with Katie Couric to be a regular guest, and they have discussed the possibility of a stem cell skin care story. Of course we're continuing to pitch the Doctor Oz show, the Doctors and the Today Show.
